KIS Creates Total Advanced Technology Solution for First Responder Vehicles
Virginia Beach, October 12, 2012
Knowledge Information Solutions (KIS), headquartered in Virginia Beach, announces that the company has designed and is marketing the first advanced technology of its kind in Virginia for the Windsor Police Department’s Dodge Charger. Selecting the premier vendors from the company’s many technology partners, and designing a one-source system through KIS technology engineering department, the Windsor Police Department now has a Dodge Charger which provides reliable, secure, high-speed monitoring and communications at a cost which was previously prohibitive for first responders such as law enforcement, fire departments, EMS and emergency utility providers.
Key components of the KIS Vehicle of the Future includes a Getac V200 fully rugged convertible notebook, IRSA Video law enforcement software to securely store, manage, and retrieve video and audio evidence, and InMotion Technology oMG router for the system. Each of these vendors worked with KIS on development and testing over the past four months prior to delivery to Windsor’s police department.
